Clay

Clay comes in many different forms. The most common form of clay requested in Central Florida is red baseball clay. Red clay is not really “red” but a deep orange color. Little leagues and other baseball / softball organizations depend on York Excavating to deliver clay to keep their ballfields in tip top shape. Our baseball clay is screened to remove large chunks making it easier to spread over the diamond. The screening process adds to the final cost of the material.

A cheaper alternative to the screened clay is also available. This material is often used for horse arenas, bocce ball courts, BMX tracks among other things. Clay is also popular as a road or road base for many of our rural customers. A typical truckload of clay is 18 cubic yards, however we can deliver any quantity as needed from 5-18 cubic yards.

York Excavating can deliver this material anywhere in the state of Florida, from Pensacola in the Panhandle to Key West. We can also deliver to any Florida port if you are looking to export this material to the Caribbean, South America, or Europe. Email or call us for a quote. Looking for clay in Tampa, FL?
